Replacing the Handset Battery

A guide to changing the battery in the handset.

We recommend using a high quality heavy duty PP3/MN1604 9v battery.

The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended as this will severely affect the performance of the radio transmission.

1) Unscrew the small silver screw at the bottom of the battery cover

2) The battery cover can now be removed

3) Remove the old battery and replace
4) Replace the battery cover and re-tighten the silver screw
